Muster.Band

Terms of service

Last updated: 17 October 2026 (version 2026-10-17)

These are the rules for using Muster.Band. We've tried to keep them short and plain. By creating an account or paying for Pro, you agree to them. How we handle your data is in our privacy page.

1. Who we are

Muster.Band is run by HRP Workspaces, a sole trader in the UK. It's a tool for bands to run their gigs, rehearsals, setlists and money in one place.

Email: hrp.workspaces@gmail.com. A person reads it.
Postal address: 23 Mount Grove, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD2 2JL, UK

2. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or over to have an account.
  • Keep your details accurate, including your email address.
  • You sign in with your email address (a link we send you) or Google. Keep that email account secure. You're responsible for what happens under your login.
  • One account per person. Don't share a login.

3. Bands and data ownership

Your band's information belongs to you and your bandmates, not to us. You keep your rights in what you put in. You let us store it and show it to the people you've chosen, only so we can run the service. We don't sell it. See the privacy page.

Who can do what in a band:

  • Everyone in a band can see everything about it, including its money and what everyone is paid.
  • Leaders run the band: they add, change and remove gigs, rehearsals, tasks, songs, setlists and the band's money, add people to the roster and remove them, send invites to join the band, make someone with an account a leader, and buy and manage Pro.
  • Other members can say whether they can make a gig or rehearsal they're on, tick off tasks assigned to them or to nobody, and block out dates they can't play. They can't change anything else about the band.
  • A band can have more than one leader. Leaders can't remove each other or make each other members. A leader can step down to member themselves, as long as another leader remains.
  • A gig's call sheet can be shared by link. Anyone with the link can see its date, venue, times and setlist, but not its fees or who's being paid what. Treat the link like a key. Share it only with people who should see it.

If you leave a band:

  • You're taken off the roster. Past gigs keep your name, because they're the band's record of who played and who was paid.
  • If you're the only leader and others are still in the band, you must make someone else a leader first. That way the band always has someone who can run it.
  • If you're the only member, leaving deletes the band and everything in it. You'll be asked to confirm first.

If you delete your account (from your Account page):

  • Your sign-in, email address and display name are deleted straight away.
  • Any band where you're the only member is deleted with everything in it.
  • In bands that carry on without you, your roster entry stays, with the gigs and payments it's part of. That's the band's history. A leader can edit or remove it, or you can email us and we'll remove your contact details from it.
  • If you're the only leader of a band that has other members, you'll need to make someone else a leader first.

Pro belongs to the band, not to one person:

  • Only leaders can upgrade a band or manage its billing. Everyone in the band gets Pro.
  • We won't let you delete your account, or leave a band, if that would delete a band that has a live Pro subscription. Cancel billing first. We never cancel a subscription for you, and a subscription set to end at the end of the period counts as live until it has ended.
  • If you leave a band that carries on, its subscription isn't cancelled. Cancel it first if that's what you want.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Muster.Band to:

  • store or share anything unlawful
  • harass, threaten or abuse other members or anyone else
  • scrape the service, or collect other people's data from it
  • try to get into other bands' information, get round the plan limits, or interfere with how the service works

5. Subscription terms

Muster.Band is free to use, with limits. Pro removes them. You buy Pro for a band, not for yourself.

  • Free covers up to 3 upcoming confirmed gigs at a time, unlimited enquiries and pencilled gigs, recording income, costs and payments, and the basic fund figures.
  • Pro adds unlimited confirmed gigs, the finance forecast, the cash-flow chart and average payout per gig.
  • If a free band already has 3 upcoming confirmed gigs and tries to confirm a 4th, the gig is saved with everything you entered, but as pencilled. It can be confirmed once the band is on Pro.

Price and renewal:

  • Pro costs £20 a year or £2.49 a month, per band. You choose which at checkout, and we show the price, how often it renews and how to cancel before you pay.
  • It renews automatically until you cancel. Stripe takes payment at the start of each period, using the card you gave at checkout.
  • If we change the price, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and it won't affect a period you've already paid for.

If a payment fails: Stripe tries the card again a few times. The band keeps Pro while it does. If the payment still can't be taken, the subscription ends.

When Pro ends (you cancel, or payment can't be taken): the band goes back to the free plan and keeps all its data. Nothing is deleted, hidden or made read-only. The free limits apply as normal. There's no extra grace period beyond Stripe's retries.

6. Cancellation and refunds

  • Cancel any time, yourself. A band leader goes to Account → Your bands → Manage billing. You don't need to email us.
  • Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. The band keeps Pro until then and isn't charged again.
  • 14-day cooling-off. When a band first buys Pro, you can cancel within 14 days of paying and get a full refund.
  • Where the law gives you a cooling-off right when a subscription renews, such as on a yearly plan, we'll honour it. Where the law says you're owed a proportionate refund, you'll get one.
  • To ask for a refund, email hrp.workspaces@gmail.com from the account that paid. We refund to the card you paid with.
  • We don't charge to cancel, there's no minimum term beyond the period you've paid for, and we won't make leaving hard.

7. Availability

We'll do our best to keep Muster.Band running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features or withdraw them. If we withdraw something you've paid for, we'll refund the unused part of the period.

8. Liability

Muster.Band is a record-keeping tool. It doesn't move money between band members, and it isn't tax, legal or accounting advice. Check the numbers against your own records.

We're not liable for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for things outside our control. Otherwise, our total liability to you for anything connected to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem.

Nothing here limits what the law doesn't let us limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and your legal rights as a consumer.

9. Termination by us

We may suspend or close an account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. We'll tell you why and give you at least 14 days' notice, unless it's urgent or the law stops us. If we close a paid band for any reason other than your breach, we'll refund the unused part of the period.

10. Changes to terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date and version below and tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. Changes never apply to a period you've already paid for.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use the courts there.
