The gig paid £280. Who gets what?
A gig's payout breakdown: £280 total fee, £40 van hire off the top, a dep on a flat £75, the remaining £165 split three ways at £55 each, with two members already marked paid.

Most band software assumes you've got a manager. You haven't.

Tour management tools are built for bands with agents, road crew and a budget line for software. If you’re playing pubs and clubs for a few hundred a night and splitting it in the car park, none of that is for you — so you end up running the band on WhatsApp, a shared calendar, and someone’s notes app. It works right up until it doesn’t.

Muster.Band is DIY band management for the other ninety percent: bands that gig properly and manage themselves. If you’re in a self-managed band, this is built for you.

Everything hangs off the gig

Enquiry → pencilled → confirmed. A venue's been in touch. Is that a booking or a maybe? Track where every conversation actually stands, instead of scrolling back through a thread to find out.

Rehearsals, in the same place as the gigs. Set “every Tuesday, 7pm” once. Rehearsals and gigs sit in one calendar, so nobody's checking two apps to work out whether they're free.

Who's in, who's out. Members confirm or decline — for gigs and rehearsals both. You know who's actually coming before the week of, not the morning of.

The call sheet writes itself. Load-in, doors, set times, address, directions. Change it the night before and the link everyone's already got just updates. No re-sending, no “check the pinned message.”

Jobs that don't get forgotten. Chase the deposit, book the van, print the setlist. Attach them to a gig, a rehearsal, or nothing at all.

Then the money. Fee in, deductions off the top, dep fees, the split. Who's been paid, who hasn't, and what's actually in the band fund — with a history you can point at.

A week in the band calendar: two jobs to do, a recurring Thursday rehearsal with three of four members confirmed, a confirmed Friday gig and a pencilled Saturday one.

Start on your own. Today.

You don’t need to sell the band on anything. Set up your gigs, your splits and your fund by yourself, and it’s useful from the first evening.

When you’re ready, invite the others — they see what they’re owed and whether it’s landed, which is the only thing most of them wanted anyway. Deps who aren’t sticking around don’t need an account at all; send them the call sheet link.

£20 a year. For the whole band.

Free to start: three confirmed gigs at a time. Enquiries and pencilled dates are unlimited — log every conversation.

Ready for more? £20 a year, or £2.49 a month if you'd rather. That's the whole band, not per member — less than a round, and about what one botched split costs you in bad feeling.
